These terms cover your use of CattleIQ—the cattleiq.pro marketing site and the CattleIQ app at app.cattleiq.pro—both run by Wiznerd Development Group LLC, a Nebraska company. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to what's below.

Rich Text

What CattleIQ is

A web and mobile application for keeping cattle records: herd, breeding, culling, reports, workdays, and the rest of the day-to-day. We make the tool available; you do the ranch work and the record-keeping.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for the activity that happens under your account. If you set up additional users for your operation, the same rules apply to each of them.

Subscriptions and billing

CattleIQ starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, you pick a plan from inside the app.

Two plans, billed monthly or annually:

  • CattleIQ for operations with fewer than 500 active animals.
  • CattleIQ Pro for operations with 500 or more.

Prices and the active-animal definition live on the pricing page. The annual option pays a year up front at a reduced per-month rate.

Payments are final. Monthly subscriptions pay a month at a time; annual subscriptions pay a year at a time. We don't pro-rate refunds for cancellations or downgrades mid-period, and annual subscriptions are not refunded if you stop using the service before the year is up. You can cancel anytime, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for.

Stripe handles the actual payment processing. If we change pricing, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies to your account.

Your data

The records you put into CattleIQ belong to you. We store them on your behalf and don't claim ownership over them. You can export your records at any time from inside the app. How we handle your data is covered in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use CattleIQ to do anything illegal, to break the service, or to abuse other users. Specifically: no trying to compromise the service or other people's accounts, no reverse engineering or scraping, no reselling the service, and no uploading malware or anything that doesn't belong in a herd-records tool. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or repeatedly violate these terms.

Our work, your work

CattleIQ itself—the app, the code, the design, the brand—belongs to Wiznerd Development Group LLC. You get to use it under these terms; you don't get to copy, redistribute, or resell it. What you enter into the app—your ranch records—is yours.

Service availability and liability

We do our best to keep CattleIQ running and your data safe, but we can't promise zero downtime or that nothing will ever go wrong. The service is provided "as is." We disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows. We won't be liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this changes any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that apply to you.

Ending the relationship

You can cancel anytime from inside the app. We can suspend or close accounts for the reasons covered under "Acceptable use," for non-payment, or if we end the service. If we end the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your records.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll update the date at the top and email active account holders. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that we can't work out by talking it through will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and both sides agree to that venue.
