What this site collects

The cattleiq.pro marketing site doesn't ask you for any information. We use the standard session and security cookies Drupal sets to serve pages. That's it.

We plan to add Google Analytics so we can see which pages people read and how they got here. When we do, Google Analytics will set its own cookies and collect basic visit data—page URLs, referrer, approximate location from IP, browser type. You can opt out with browser settings, an ad blocker, or Google's official opt-out tools.

What CattleIQ (the app) collects

When you sign up at app.cattleiq.pro, we collect:

• Account information. Your name, email, and password. Passwords are hashed, not stored in the clear.
• What you put in. Herd records, group definitions, reports, workdays—the data you enter. It belongs to you. We hold it so you can use it.
• Payment information. Once you pick a paid plan, Stripe handles the card. Stripe stores the card details; we only see the last four digits, the billing zip, and what Stripe tells us about each charge.
• Basic usage. Server logs of who's logged in and when, for security and support.

Why we collect it

To run the service you signed up for. Keep your records. Charge your subscription. Send the few emails the app needs to send. Help you when you contact support.

Who we share it with

The companies that help us run CattleIQ. Today that's Stripe (subscription payments) and our hosting provider. Eventually, Google Analytics for marketing-site traffic, as noted above.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not let third parties use it to profile you. If law enforcement shows up with a valid order, we'll comply with what the order requires and nothing more.

How we protect it

HTTPS everywhere. Hashed passwords. Encrypted backups. Production access limited to the people who need it.

Your data, your call

You can export your records out of CattleIQ at any time from inside the app. You can close your account at any time. If you want a copy of what we have, or want it deleted, email support@thewiznerd.com.

If you're outside the United States

CattleIQ is built and operated in the United States, and your data is stored on US servers. If you're a non-US user with questions or requests about your data, email us—we'll do our best to accommodate within US law.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and email active account holders when the change affects them.
